Using the Dolphin Emulator, and by downloading the relevant game files onto your machine. To avoid legal issues, I would recommend only getting games you physically own (for obvious reasons). Gamecube games are easy to map - any modern controller will likely have sufficient relevant buttons to map stuff to.
PS3 controllers were not really supported on pc for any operating system. Even windows doesn't have a great solution for using them, I don't know much about support on mac.

You could probably just google how to use ps3 or ds3 on mac and probably find something. I mostly commented just to say, why the hell would you use jpcsp? Its not at all a good choice for psp emulation on any platform. Its a java psp emulator.
The only reason to use that is to you can incorporate it into a website and play directly on a webpage or something. Use this: is way, way more developed and has a version for every platform. I'm running Dolphin emulator, and using a Retrolink Gamecube USB Controller.
I use a macbook pro 2016 13-inch to play my games, so i connect the USB controller with a USB-C to USB Adapter. My question is that whenever I go on Dolphin to play games and select a game, I have to select the controllers before i play on the configuration screen everytime. Also, Sometimes Dolphin either won't read my controller or disconnect it in the middle of a game. What can i do to fix this?. I was wondering if there was any way I could play my PS3 on my MacBook by connecting it somehow, I believe I have either a 2012 or 2013 MacBook Pro 13 inch.
